Not only he is in love with Soul, Jazz, Blues and R&B plus anything musically related (he grew up in LA), but he also has that psychedelic twist that comes straight from the sixties which gives him an unusual openess. Vince Vallicelli is litterally obsessed with New Orleans since his stay in Big Easy for a period of his life, playing gigs with the Louisiana musicians and flirting with the Gumbo music. He has solid roots in the Blues too, and performed with Luther Allison, Jeanne e Karen Carrol, Sugar Blue, Carey Bell, Charlie Musselwhite e Billy Gregory all over Europe. He is from the Italian region of Romagna and just like the Sangiovese wine that comes from there sometimes he is rough but always tricky. Pipps Guarnera never really recovered from the trauma he got at thirteen watchin a TV show featuring a glorious B3 Hammond.
